What I learn about e-learning and CALL

I learned many useful tools which I never used before,it include audio and video tools.For example,POCAST and RSS are the most impressive tools for me,as I study in English Department, I have to research many beneficial and useful tools to learn English,furthermore,I think we also can provide these kind of tools with some remote school or some student without abundant resources.
In the other hand, I learned some tools about creating something by myself to demonstrate my learning achievement and even increase the motivation for me to learn further.For example, I can make a SLIDESHARE to show something I'm interesting in or my learning projects,I think this is a goood way on learning.About the BLOGS, I ues something new in this class,WIKI and BLOGGER, I could use those of blogs to prepare my future on finding jobs, of course, demonstrating what I learn.

I think this is a very useful and commom website for every generations to get any kind of information, for example, you can learn how to play the guitar or even learn how to use softwares.
2.Podcast
It allows individuals to publish (podcast) radioshows, that interested listeners can subscribe to. Before podcasting you could of course record a radio show and put it on your website, but now people can automatically receive new shows, without having to go to a specific site and download it from there.
3.MindMap
It a diagram used to represent words, ideas, tasks, or other items linked to and arranged around a central key word or idea,it used to generate, visualize, structure, and classify ideas, and as an aid in study, organization, problem solving, decision making, and writing.So I think it also a good way to structure how to teach and make teaching become more organized!
4.SongSmith
It generates musical accompaniment to match a singer’s voice. Just choose a musical style, sing into your PC’s microphone, and Songsmith will create backing music for you.
5.SlideShare
SlideShare lets anyone share presentations and also serves as a social discovery platform for users to find relevant content and connect with other members who share similar interests.

I think this person did a good job and actually I have to give him a most sincere appreciation,because I barely know many things that he mentioned about on those two blogs.First of all, i think the first blog"web2.0" introduce many hot and useful websites,and he also introduced brief differences between web1.0 and web2.0 so that I can know this new trend more clearly. In web2.0 blog, he mentioned some blogs about making friends and social with people worldwide.And he also show us some very useful tools that could enhance our work even learning more various,for example, "slideshare" i think this blog can give me a lot of new ideas about how to make PPT more attractive and maybe it can help me on work in the future.

Second blog mentioned about ESL/EFL writing, i think this information is a little be professional for me, but it doesn't mean that i don't like them, on the contrary, I think this would be the best weapon to create abilities, like "odigo"it teach me how to vocalize our blog and "Google Docs" can help me to solve learning problems and organize my documents.And "youtube" it brings me a lot of video information and i can post videos on my blog or PPT, it's so amazing!!

Reflect on what Web 2.0 is

I think Web2.0 is a very influential change in our life, furthermore, it become a big part of our daily life, for example, now we surfing the Internet to read the newspaper rather than reading traditional newspaper and we often read others article on their blog then share our feeling or experiences even some strangers from any country or nation. This is just a small part of the function of Web2.0, there are some practical functions to users, for instance, we can upload some pictures we want to share to our friends and exchange from each other, so in this way we don't have to print those photos out and we can decrease the paper pollution. And I think Web2.0 not just have benefits to the generaion like us but increase large opportunity to business field, for example, they can sell goods by the Internet.
In the end, I think Web2.0 can create more chances to our society and our life and maybe we can get something we desire from the function of Web2.0 even earn some money!!

Hello I'm stacy

Hello everyone,

I'm stacy tai , I born in Taipei and lived in Hualien since I studied primary school, and I graduate from National Hualien Girl's Senior High School, I had to said that the time I studied in here gave me a lot of training and good learning attitude.I thought this move made me become more purer in childhood but still had the competitive motivation to achieve my ideas. As to my hobbies, I like surfing Internet ,singing,shopping and do something I felt good! That's the brief introduction about myself .

And why I want to choose this class because this class sounds like not as boring as other teaching classes, and the most important goal is that I want to learn how to teach with computer and get some computer knoledge and new skills!
About my future maybe I will chose some jobs relating to internatioal trade or maritime/air cargo corporaion, because this kind of jobs they need employees who have good English ability. I'm going to prepare my career now!
